On Wednesday, 25th March, we were visited by the transformation network neu\/wagen<\/strong>: Burian & Marlin brought the humanoid research robot Unitree G1<\/strong> to our company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weighing around 35 kg, with a battery life of 2 to 4 hours and a starting price of around \u20ac20,000 (basic model), the G1 is an impressive example of where the journey is headed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, it is clear that the G1 is not a traditional industrial robot, but a flexible, all-purpose tool. Many capabilities are still in the development phase, and training is carried out using VR, amongst other methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Germany and Europe are not yet among the leading players in the field of humanoid robotics. Nevertheless, we see great potential: our Managing Director J\u00f6rg-Tilman Heyl<\/strong> is convinced that small and medium-sized enterprises in particular can win over customers with quality, as a counterpoint to the sheer scale and speed of innovation of other market players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That was a fascinating glimpse into a future that is already a reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
