With rising temperatures, the need for fluids naturally increases as well. For adults, a consumption of at least 2-3 litres of water per day is recommended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why is water the best thirst quencher in summer?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. Hydration<\/strong>: The human body consists largely of water. In order for metabolic processes to function smoothly, it is important to stay sufficiently hydrated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Cooling<\/strong>: On hot days, water is a wonderful way to refresh yourself. A glass of water or a cold shower will protect you from overheating and help regulate your body temperature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. Health<\/strong>: Drinking water has many health benefits. It aids digestion, blood circulation, helps detoxification and keeps our skin young and healthy. Adequate water intake can also reduce headaches and fatigue.
